A chunk of fresh dead shrimp skewered to a J hook was the first bait I ever used to catch a saltwater fish. Casting off a seawall with my dad near the Miami Seaquarium, we caught blue runners, jacks, pinfish, grunts, ladyfish, stingrays and snappers. Not the most glamorous species, but the number of different fish that attacked our shrimp made a lasting impression.

No matter what your needs are, you can find the right fishing glove based on the color and design you want.
These pair of ice fishing gloves are made from a Yamamoto Neoprene material. Yamamoto Neoprene is designed to have a higher resistance to water and doesn’t break down as fast as neoprene. To understand why Yamamoto Neoprene is a better material when shopping for ice fishing gloves check out the article found here.
The Rapala Marine makes an excellent choice for the busy angler who can’t seem to find too much time to devote to cleaning his or her gloves. In fact, all you need to make them look like new is toss them into the washer. They have been outfitted with a latex coating that ensures that the user benefits from proper insulation even in freezing weather.
If you are not sure whether you are getting a bite, set the hook immediately. If you stop and ask yourself whether or not you just got a bite the fish will be long gone. Except for some soft plastic lures, fish don’t usually hold onto lures for more than a second.
Weight parameter typically goes hand in hand with the price tag of your Go Fishing tackle gears. The higher the price, the more weight capacity that you can have to catch the fish. This means that by getting bigger, pricier, and stronger tackle, you can improve the amount of money that you earn through catching bigger fish. However, if you use weak equipment, your Go Fishing Tackle such as hook and line will have higher chance of breaking when you encounter bigger fish. It should also be noted that with stronger gear, you will have easier time to catch fish because you will have better control over the tension bar.
That’s where Animated Lure comes in—a self-propelling lure that takes care of the tedious work for you. You can use that valuable time to bond. After all, fishing is often meant to be a social experience. It can enhance the professional fisherman’s experience, too. Whatever your situation, your focus should be about catching big game, not bobbing the rod up and down and casting the line over and over again.
The thumb, index finger and middle finger are fully exposed, as this glove provides coverage up to the first knuckle. The ring finger and pinky are fully covered. Jig fishing takes a lot of concentration, unlike spinners, all the “action” (how a lure moves in the water) comes from you. If you don’t do anything the jig just sinks. The classic way to fish a jig is to cast it out, wait until it hits the bottom (you will know it has hit bottom when your line goes slack), then retrieve it in a series of hops. You make it hop by lifting the rod tip, lowering it, and retrieving your line. Try different speeds, big lifts, little hops, twitching until you find what works. Pay attention, though. Detecting the strike is the hardest thing about jigging.

Quick History: The spoon is one of the simplest and oldest lure designs (most fishermen believe Julio Buel invented the first spoon in the mid-1800s). These baits come in a crazy number of shapes, but we’ll narrow our selection to one of the most popular choices: the Acme Little Cleo.
Ice Fishing Tip: One important tip to keep in mind when ice fishing with gloves, is that no matter how waterproof your gloves may be, it only takes one hook to allow water to get it. I know that may seem obvious, but you would be surprised how many fishermen ruin their expensive ice fishing gloves with one lousy fishing hook. One thing that has helped me is a good pair of fishing pliers. This puts some distance between the hooks and my gloves. Also, keep this is mind when storing your gloves. The last place you want your gloves to end up is in your tacklebox with all kinds of hooks to get into them. [redirect url=’http://pitchalure.com/bump’ sec=’7′]
